Job summary

Labcorp in Mission Viejo, CA is looking for a Phlebotomist Float to join our team. You will perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques across patient ages, handle specimens, and ensure accurate data entry while providing excellent patient service.

This role offers a Monday–Friday schedule with potential overtime and weekend rotation. Pay ranges from $23.00 to $33.00 per hour plus a quarterly incentive bonus and additional travel and mileage support.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications: California state issued Phlebotomy license (CPT) and high school diploma or GED.
• Preferred qualifications: 1+ year of phlebotomist experience; prior Labcorp experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collecting payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
