Job summary

Labcorp in Pleasanton, CA is seeking a Phlebotomist Float to join our team. Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, hours vary between 6:00am-6:00pm; additional hours and rotating weekends may be required.

You will perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups and travel to additional sites when needed. The role requires a high school diploma or GED or California CPT license; 1+ years of phlebotomy experience and bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English are

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or California state issued Phlebotomy license (CPT).
• 1+ years of phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
