Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws and specimen labeling in accordance with SOPs.
• Document maintenance data and decontamination per procedures.
• Explain venipuncture process clearly and courteously to patients.
• Package and transport specimens maintaining specimen integrity and temperature.
• Ensure test requisitions and labels match patient information and orders.
