Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist Float for the Longmeadow, MA site. The role operates on an 8-hour shift, Monday through Friday, with varying start times and alternating weekends. Responsibilities include venipuncture, specimen handling, data entry, and patient service.

Requirements include a high school diploma, phlebotomy certification or training, and 1+ year of phlebotomy experience. A valid driver’s license and ability to pass a color vision test are also expected.

Qualifications

• 1+ year phlebotomy experience.
• Color vision test clearance and valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary methods.
• Collect specimens for screens and tests as required.
• Enter patient data accurately and promptly.
• Process billing information and collect payments when needed.
• Prepare specimens for testing and maintain logs.
• Provide excellent customer service and assist at multiple sites.
