Position: Float Phlebotomist

Pay Range: $21.73 - $28.49 per hour

Float Incentive: Additional $1.00/hr plus mileage reimbursement

Quarterly Incentive Bonus: Eligible for a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics through the Phlebotomy Incentive Plan.

Work Schedule & Location

Schedule: Monday - Friday, hours vary between 7:00am - 6:00pm, with possible additional days/hours including Saturday. Typical hours are 8:00am - 5:00pm. Overtime may be required.

Location: 2230 S. Fraser St., Unit #1, Aurora, CO 80014, serving Aurora, Broomfield, Thornton, Golden, Arvada, Evergreen, Littleton, Highlands Ranch, Lone Tree, Denver, and surrounding areas.

Job Responsibilities

1. Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
2. Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
3. Accurately and promptly enter patient information.
4. Process billing information and collect payments as needed.
5. Prepare specimens for testing and analysis.
6. Maintain logs of patient and specimen information.
7. Provide excellent customer service to all patients.
8. Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
9. Travel to additional sites when required.

Job Requirements

1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Preferred: Phlebotomy certification from an accredited agency.
3. Preferred: Previous experience as a phlebotomist.
4. Valid Driver's License with a good driving record.
5. Must be at least 21 years old.
6. Proven customer service skills.
7. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
8. Ability to work independently and in a team.
9. Reliable transportation and clean driving record.
10. Flexibility for overtime.
11. Ability to pass a color blindness test.
