As a Float Phlebotomist, you will have the opportunity to quickly gain a vast amount of experience.

Pay Range: $21.73 - $28.49 per hour

Float Incentive: Additional $1.00/hr plus mileage reimbursement

QUARTERLY INCENTIVE BONUS PROGRAM: Phlebotomists may be eligible for participation in the Phlebotomy Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics.

Benefits: Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement, and Employee Stock Purchase Plan.

Casual, PRN & Part-Time employees regularly scheduled to work less than 20 hours are eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan only. For more detailed information, please click here.

All job offers will be based on a candidate’s skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data.

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, hours vary between 6:00am - 6:00pm, additional days/hours may be requested in this role which may include a Saturday rotation. Typical Work Schedule of 7:00am - 3:30pm.

Position includes overtime.

Work Location: 1550 S. Potomac St., Suite #322, Aurora, CO 80012

***Territory coverage will include Aurora, Highlands Ranch, Littleton, Denver, Arvada, and surrounding areas

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
  2. Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
  3. Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely
  4. Process billing information and collect payments when required
  5. Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
  6. Maintain patient and specimen information logs
  7. Provide superior customer service to all patients
  8. Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
  9. Travel to additional sites when needed

Job Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Phlebotomy certification from an accredited agency is preferred
  • Previous experience as a phlebotomist (preferred)
  • Must have a Valid Driver's License and good driving record
  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
  • Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
  • Ability to work independently or in a team environment
  • Comfortable working under minimal supervision
  • Reliable transportation and a clean driving record if applicable
  • Flexibility to work overtime as needed
  • Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
