Job summary

DNW DynaCare Northwest Inc. is looking for a Float Phlebotomist to perform blood collections and manage patient information across various locations in the Seattle area. Candidates must possess a valid Phlebotomy License and demonstrate strong customer service and communication skills.

Job Overview

Float Phlebotomist position within Labcorp.

Compensation and Incentives

Pay Range: $21.87 to $32.28 per hour. Float Incentive: Additional $2.00 per hour plus mileage reimbursement. *QUARTERLY INCENTIVE BONUS PROGRAM: PST’s may be eligible for participation in the PST Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics.

Work Schedule

Monday to Friday, hours vary between 7:00am to 7:00pm, rotating weekends.

Work Location

Seattle to Issaquah and various locations between both regions.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.

Job Requirements

• Must have a valid Washington-issued Phlebotomy License or an application for a Phlebotomy License filed with Washington Department of Health at time of hire.
• Previous experience as a phlebotomist is preferred.
• Must have a Valid Driver’s License and good driving record.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment.
• Comfortable working under minimal supervision.
• Reliable transportation and clean driving record if applicable.
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
• Able to pass a standardized color blindness test.
