As a Float Phlebotomist, you will have the opportunity to quickly gain a vast amount of experience. You will work with a variety of patients, team members, and clinics/locations. Work Schedule: Monday - Friday (hours vary) 6:00am - 7:00pm; every other Saturday 7am - 2pm

Work Location: Baltimore County, MD

Pay Range: $15.00 - $26.00 per hour

All job offers will be based on a candidate’s skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data.

Float Incentive: Additional $1.00/hr plus mileage reimbursement

Sign on Bonus: $1,500 (active Labcorp employees are not eligible)

PST’s may be eligible for participation in the PST Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics

Benefits: Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement, and Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Job Responsibilities:

1. Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
2. Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
3. Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely
4. Process billing information and collect payments when required
5. Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
6. Maintain patient and specimen information logs
7. Provide superior customer service to all patients
8. Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary
9. Travel to additional sites when needed

Job Requirements:

This position requires you to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. Proof of vaccination or qualifying medical/religious accommodations are required.

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Phlebotomy certification from an accredited agency is preferred
• 2 years of phlebotomy experience (preferred)
• Experience working with pediatrics and geriatrics
• Valid Driver's License and good driving record
• At least 21 years old
• Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently or in a team
• Comfortable working under minimal supervision
• Reliable transportation and a clean driving record if applicable
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed
• Able to pass a color blindness test
