Position Highlights
  • Full-time Monday – Friday 8-hour shifts starting between 8am-9:30am
  • Full benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401K, tuition reimbursement, paid time off (including major holidays)

Responsibilities
  • Receive and process requests for patient health information in accordance with company and facility policies.
  • Maintain confidentiality and security of privileged information.
  • Maintain working knowledge of company and facility software.
  • Adhere to the company's and facility's code of conduct and policies.
  • Inform management of work, site difficulties, and fluctuating volumes.
  • Assist with additional duties as required.
  • Apply medical privacy regulations consistently to prevent unauthorized disclosures.
  • Manage patient health records, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with HIPAA standards.
  • Prepare new patient charts, gather documents from paper and electronic sources.
  • Create digital images of paperwork for electronic storage.
  • Respond to requests for patient records, retrieving and transmitting them appropriately.
  • Handle inbound and outbound calls.
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as handling faxes, opening mail, and data entry.
  • Meet productivity expectations as outlined at the specific site.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Ability to commute between locations as needed
  • Willingness to work overtime during peak seasons
  • Basic computer skills
  • Comfortable with phones, fax machines, printers, and office equipment
  • Professional communication skills in English
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in medical records
  • Strong data entry skills
  • Ability to work independently and respond to changing priorities
  • Organizational skills to manage multiple tasks
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
  • Healthcare experience
  • Experience in production or metric-based work
  • Customer service experience
  • Ability to build client relationships
  • Willingness to contribute ideas and process improvements

Pay range: $15—$18.32 USD per hour, varies by location, responsibilities, skills, and experience.

Note: Many clients require post-offer health screenings and vaccinations. Exemptions are reviewed case-by-case.
