Job Title: Phlebotomist

We are seeking a Phlebotomist to work in a client office. Your role will involve providing exceptional customer service, performing skilled specimen collections, and representing the company positively. Opportunities for growth within the organization are available.

Work Details

• Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm; Saturdays as assigned
• Location: Columbia, MD
• Pay Range: $15.00 - $26.00 per hour

Offers are based on skills, relevant experience, certifications, internal equity, and market data. PST employees may be eligible for a quarterly bonus through the PST Incentive Plan.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections via venipuncture and capillary techniques for all ages
• Collect specimens for various tests
• Accurately enter patient data
• Process billing and collect payments as needed
• Prepare specimens for testing
• Maintain logs of patient and specimen information
• Provide excellent customer service
• Perform administrative duties
• Travel to additional sites as required

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Preferred: Phlebotomy certification from an accredited agency
• Preferred: 2 years of phlebotomy experience
• Proven customer service skills
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work independently or in a team
• Reliable transportation and a clean driving record if applicable
• Flexibility for overtime
• Ability to pass a color blindness test
• Other duties as assigned
