Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in Burlington, NC. The role features a Monday-Saturday schedule, as needed, with a variable cap on weekly hours and travel to other sites.

Responsibilities include venipuncture, specimen handling, data entry, and patient service. Candidates should have a high school diploma (or GED) or phlebotomy training/certification and prior phlebotomy experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy technique and patient handling.
• Strong data entry and clerical skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
