Job description

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in Burlington, NC.

Location: Burlington, NC. Work schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information accurately and promptly.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completion of a training program, or at least 3 months of experience as a phlebotomist.
• In lieu of work experience, a phlebotomy certification or training program must come from an accredited agency.

Preferred Qualifications

• One year or more of phlebotomy experience.

• Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
