Job summary

Labcorp in Kissimmee, FL is seeking a Phlebotomist to provide exceptional customer service, perform skilled specimen collections and be the face of the company. You will work in a Patient Service Center with a variable schedule and opportunities for growth.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, and a phlebotomy certification or training; 3 months experience is preferred. Travel to additional sites may be required; PST incentive plan may apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months experience as a phlebotomist required.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Enter patient information accurately in the system.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen logs.
• Provide superior customer service to patients.
• Travel to additional sites as needed.
