Job summary

Labcorp in Savannah, GA is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team. You will perform venipuncture and capillary collections, and be the face of the company while providing exceptional customer service. Work hours are Monday–Friday mornings, with potential overtime as needed.

Responsibilities include specimen collection for a range of tests, accurate data entry, billing support, and maintaining logs. This role offers growth opportunities within Labcorp’s patient-service and client-office settings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist
• Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
• Strong communication skills; both written and verbal

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
• Process billing information and collect payments
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs
• Provide superior customer service to all patients
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
