Job summary

Zaddy Solutions is seeking a Phlebotomist in Shelby, NC to support routine blood draws and specimen handling in a fast-paced clinical lab environment.

The role requires experience with venipuncture, labeling, centrifuging, and maintaining accurate patient data, along with adherence to OSHA regulations. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 7:30 am to 4:30 pm, with benefits available and a projected duration of 3 months plus potential for permanent placement.

Qualifications

• Experience performing blood draws.
• Collects and stores specimens according to established procedures.
• Proficient with labeling, centrifuging, and maintaining patient data.
• Minimum 6 months venipuncture experience; 1 year preferred.

Responsibilities

• Experience doing blood draws, labeling specimens, centrifuging specimens, recording maintenance data and decontamination, updating patient information, etc.
• Collects and stores specimens according to established procedures. Explains the venipuncture process clearly and courteously.
• Demonstrate technique using straight and butterfly needles.
• Match laboratory requisition forms to specimen tubes and label, centrifuge, split, and freeze specimens as required.
