Modern Machining Solutions Inc in Charlotte, NC seeks a Phlebotomist for a 3‑month contract with potential to convert to permanent. Schedule: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday–Friday. Responsibilities include blood draws, specimen labeling and storage, and documenting patient information and test orders.

Requires a valid phlebotomy certification, at least 6 months of venipuncture experience, and a high school diploma or GED; proficiency with Microsoft Office is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months' work experience performing venipunctures in a fast paced lab or hospital setting.
• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed as required in some states.
• High School Diploma or GED

Responsabilités

• Experience doing blood draws, labeling specimens, centrifuging specimens, recording maintenance data and decontamination, updating patient information, etc.
• Collects and stores specimens according to established procedures.
• Explain the venipuncture process in a clear but courteous manner and follow physician orders.
• Package specimens for transport and ensure proper storage and temperature control.
• Attend department trainings and comply with OSHA and DEP regulations.
