You will perform blood collection, label specimens, and ensure proper handling with safety and accuracy; potential for permanent placement.

The role requires phlebotomy certification, 6 months venipuncture experience, and proficiency with MS Office; on-site work with benefits.

Qualifications

• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where employed.
• Minimum of 6 months' venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum 2 years of experience

Responsibilities

• Experience doing blood draws and labeling specimens.
• Collects and stores specimens per procedures; explains venipuncture process clearly.
• Demonstrate technique using straight and butterfly needles.
• Match requisition forms to specimen tubes; label, centrifuge, split and freeze as required.
• Package specimens for transport and ensure proper storage conditions.
• Attend annual department trainings and respond to inquiries.
