Job summary

KingRecruitingServices in Greer, SC seeks a Phlebotomist for a 3-month contract with potential to perm. Schedule is Monday to Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm. Requires 1+ year of diagnostic phlebotomy experience and a valid state phlebotomy certification. Benefits are available.

Responsibilities include performing blood draws, labeling and centrifuging specimens, maintaining records, and ensuring specimen integrity per protocols. OSHA/DEP rules compliance is required and training attendance is expected.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of diagnostic phlebotomy experience
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
• High School Diploma or GED

Responsibilities

• Experience doing blood draws
• Label specimens
• Centrifuging specimens
• Record maintenance data and decontamination
• Explain venipuncture process clearly to patients
• Match requisition forms to specimen tubes
• Package specimens for transport
• Store specimens at required temperatures
• Attend department trainings
