Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our Akron team at 1925 W Market St, Akron, OH 44313. The role supports blood collection, specimen handling and patient service in a fast-paced environment.

You will perform venipuncture, data entry and billing tasks while ensuring quality and compassionate care for diverse patients. Growth opportunities and a structured schedule are available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training or 3+ months experience.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all ages.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, etc.
• Enter patient information accurately into the system.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare specimens for testing and maintain logs.
• Provide superior customer service to patients.
• Travel to additional sites as needed.
