Job summary

Pride Health is hiring a Phlebotomist-I to support our client’s medical facility in Naples, FL 34110. This is a 13-week contract with the potential for extension and a strong stepping stone with a premier healthcare organization. Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 am–2:30 pm EST.

Pay: $17.00–$17.75 per hour, based on education, experience, and credentials. Must have a high school diploma and at least 6 months of phlebotomy experience; 1+ year is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum 6 months phlebotomy experience; 1+ year preferred.
• Experience with specimen labeling and processing per CLIA/OSHA/HIPAA standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and capillary blood sampling with precision and care.
• Verify patient identification prior to blood collection.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area following lab procedures and safety protocols.
• Accurately label and document specimens for testing.
• Label, process, and transport blood specimens per CLIA/OSHA/HIPAA standards.

Schedule:

Monday- Friday 6am-230pm-EST

Pay Range:

$17 - $17.75/hr (Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.) The rate is based on years of DIRECT EXPERIENCE as listed in the resume

• Perform venipuncture and capillary blood sampling with precision and care.
• Ensure proper identification of patients prior to blood collection.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to laboratory procedures and safety protocols.
• Accurately label and document specimens for testing in accordance with medical terminology standards.
• Label, process, and transport blood specimens accurately and efficiently in compliance with CLIA, OSHA, and HIPAA standards.

Required Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent REQUIRED

Work Experience:

• Minimum of 6 months of experience REQUIRED.
• One (+) year of phlebotomy experience is preferred
