Pride Health is hiring an ENTRY Phlebotomist I to support our client's healthcare facility in Cape Coral, FL 33904. This local contract role runs Monday through Saturday, 6:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., in Cape Coral, FL 33904.

The role requires a high school diploma, phlebotomy experience, and 1–2 years of client-facing customer service, plus keyboard/data entry skills. Responsibilities include lobby check-ins, specimen collection, records, and maintaining a safe environment.

Schedule: Monday through Saturday, 6:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Location: Cape Coral, FL 33904

Job Type: Local contract

Pay Range: 17.75/Hour

Duties:

• Ability to handle patients with care and compassion while assisting with check-ins in the lobby through either a self-service kiosk or handheld tablet
• Be willing to work both in the lobby and in a draw room with patients to help with breaks that need to be covered
• To perform with confidence both the forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing duties following established practices and procedures.
• Under the direction of the area supervisor, perform daily activities accurately and on time.
• Maintain a safe and professional environment.
• Maintain required records and documentation.
• Demonstrate organizational commitment and promote a positive image to patients, clients, employees, and the public in general, along with a willingness to learn new skills.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent REQUIRED - no exceptions
• Phlebotomy experience is required, even if just an intern/externship to learn the basics
• Minimum of 1-2 years of client-facing customer service REQUIRED (Retail, Home Health Aide, etc).
• Some Phlebotomy experience is REQUIRED
• Keyboard/data entry experience is a must.
