Qualifikationen

• Certification: Phlebotomy certification or CMA certification or one year of phlebotomy experience.

• Performs phlebotomy and other lab specimen collections per age-related standards and department policies.
• Enters orders and verifies test results in multiple systems; ensures information is complete for lab services.
• Processes specimens promptly to maintain stability and integrity; labels, centrifuges, aliquots, and packs for transport.
• Maintains a safe work environment and follows biohazard waste procedures.
• Communicates with Laboratory and/or Physician to resolve specimen procurement issues.
