Formación

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Phlebotomy certification or CMA certification preferred/required.
• Experience in phlebotomy in a healthcare setting is advantageous.

Responsabilidades

• Performs phlebotomy and lab specimen collections per age-related standards and policies.
• Demonstrates AIDET and optimizes patient safety to reduce errors.
• Receives and reviews physician orders; enters accurate lab orders per policy.
• Provides post-phlebotomy patient care and clear patient communication.
• Processes specimens timely to preserve sample integrity and proper labeling.
• Maintains refrigerator temperatures and QC/QA records; reports issues.
• Communicates problems with specimen procurement to the appropriate team.
