Job summary

Labcorp in Florida is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our Patient Service Center team. You will perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques, collect specimens for drug screens, and provide friendly, accurate service to patients and clinic partners.

This full-time role offers weekday schedules with some overtime and opportunities for growth within Labcorp’s diagnostic testing and drug development network.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or phlebotomy certification or completed training or 3+ months experience as phlebotomist.
• Preferred: 1 year+ phlebotomy experience.
• Additional requirement: pass color blindness test and valid driver license.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all ages.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Data entry of patient information accurately and timely.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to patients.
• Carry out administrative and clerical duties as needed.
• Travel to additional sites when required.
• Other duties as assigned.
