Kingfisher Recruiting is seeking a Phlebotomist in Draper, UT for a contract role with potential for permanent placement. The schedule is 7am-3:30pm, Monday to Friday, with an anticipated duration of 3 months plus potential for perm.

Experience in geriatric phlebotomy and basic lab procedures is required. Responsibilities include performing blood draws, labeling and processing specimens, and ensuring compliance with OSHA guidelines.

Formación

• Requires geriatric experience.
• Minimum of 6 months venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting.
• Phlebotomy certification as required by the state of employment.
• High School Diploma or GED is required.

Responsabilidades

• Performs blood draws and related specimen collection.
• Label, centrifuge, and record maintenance data for specimens.
• Explain the venipuncture process clearly and courteously to patients.
• Ensure correct labeling and handling of test requisitions and specimens.
• Package specimens for transport and maintain specimen integrity per protocol.
