Job summary

Top Dog Recruiting is seeking a Phlebotomist in Draper, UT for a contract role with potential for permanent placement. Schedule is 7am-3:30pm, Monday through Friday, with an initial 3-month duration and benefits available. Requires geriatric experience and at least 1 year of overall experience in phlebotomy.

You will perform blood draws, label and process specimens, and ensure accurate data entry and compliance with OSHA/DEP guidelines. Experience in fast-paced clinical settings is preferred.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy certification required in some states.
• Minimum 6 months venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; High School Diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws and collect specimens using venipuncture or capillary techniques.
• Label specimens and ensure proper storage and handling.
• Centrifuge specimens and maintain accurate maintenance data.
• Explain procedures clearly to patients and ensure accurate patient information.
• Package and transport specimens per protocol and regulatory guidelines.
