Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Phlebotomy Certification (CPT) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Draw blood and blood cultures and collect non-blood specimens with patient care and accuracy.
• Label specimens in the patient’s presence.
• Operate basic laboratory equipment and data systems (centrifuges, printers, scanners, etc.).
• Communicate effectively with patients, clients, and staff.
• Perform clerical duties such as filing, report distribution, processing, and faxing.
• Collect drug screens when applicable using Chain of Custody processes.
