Singing River Health System in Ocean Springs, MS seeks a Phlebotomist/Courier to transport laboratory specimens and perform venipuncture across hospital sites. You will verify orders, label specimens, and uphold safety and quality standards in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Requires a High School diploma; valid driver’s license and driving record; 1 year phlebotomy experience preferred. Certification preferred (ASCP/APA/AMT/NHA/NCCT/NIHP/MedCA/NPC/AAH or equivalent).

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred; approved agency certification encouraged.
• 1 year phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.

Responsabilités

• Transports laboratory specimens to and from clinic sites per procedures.
• Performs venipunctures, heel and finger sticks, and other specimen collections.
• Ensures proper patient identification, labeling, preservation, and pre-test processing; handles clerical duties as needed.
