Singing River Health System invites applications for a Phlebotomist/Courier to support hospital operations across Ocean Springs and Pascagoula locations. The role includes venipuncture, specimen collection, labeling, and safe transport to the clinical laboratory.

The position requires a high school diploma, basic health/science coursework, and a valid driver’s license. De-escalation training is required within the orientation period, with potential for growth within SRHS.

Formación

• High school graduate or equivalent required; some college in health/science preferred.
• Must have de-escalation training completed by orientation (90 days).
• Valid driver’s license with satisfactory driving record; travel throughout SRHS service area.

Responsabilidades

• Performs venipunctures, heel and finger sticks, and other specimen collections.
• Transports laboratory specimens to and from sites following procedures.
• Performs clerical duties and processes orders; maintains accurate reports and communications.
