Job summary

Modern Machining Solutions Inc is seeking a Phlebotomist to support temporary contract work in Columbus, GA with potential for permanent placement. You will perform blood draws, label specimens, and ensure proper handling per protocol, while maintaining accurate records.

Ideal candidates have at least 3 years of phlebotomy experience, proficiency with Office apps, and the ability to work M-F 8:30a-5:30p in a fast-paced lab setting. Benefits are available for eligible staff.

Qualifications

• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed as required in some states.
• Minimum of 6 months' work experience performing venipunctures in a fast paced lab or hospital setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• High School Diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws and label specimens.
• Centrifuge specimens and record maintenance data.
• Prepare and transport specimens per test orders.
• Explain venipuncture process to patients clearly.
• Follow OSHA/DEP regulations and attend annual trainings.
