Talent Solutions Partners is seeking a Phlebotomist in Oceanside, CA for a contract role with potential for permanent placement. Schedule is 6AM-6PM, weekdays with possible weekend rotation. The three-month assignment may float to PSC locations in Vista and Encinitas, with mileage reimbursement.

The role involves blood draws, specimen labeling, centrifuging, data entry, and ensuring specimen integrity per protocols, OSHA/DEP guidelines, and physician orders.

Qualificações

• Valid phlebotomy certification for the state of employment.
• Minimum 6 months venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsabilidades

• Experience doing blood draws, labeling specimens, centrifuging specimens, recording maintenance data and decontamination.
• Collects and stores specimens according to established procedures.
• Explain venipuncture process clearly and courteously to patients as required.
• Package specimens for transport; store samples per protocol and test orders.
• Ensure 100% accuracy by matching requisitions to specimen tubes and labels.
