Top Echelon Software, LLC currently has a contract phlebotomist position in Oceanside, CA. The role runs 6AM–6PM, Monday to Friday, for 8 hours per shift, with weekend rotation and a projected duration of 3 months, plus potential for permanent placement. Candidate will perform blood draws, labeling, centrifuging, and maintain accurate patient data, while following all regulatory guidelines and company procedures.

Qualifications

• Valid phlebotomy certification as required by state.
• At least 6 months of venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws, labeling and centrifuging specimens.
• Record maintenance data and decontamination; update patient information.
• Explain venipuncture procedure clearly and courteously to patients.
• Match requisition forms to specimen tubes and ensure accurate labeling.
• Package specimens for transport and store according to protocol.
• Follow OSHA and DEP regulations and attend trainings.
• Answer calls and review lab results as needed.
