Top Echelon Software LLC in Gainesville, GA is seeking a qualified Phlebotomist for a 3-month contract with potential for permanent placement. Schedule is 8:00am – 4:45pm, Monday through Friday.

The role requires a minimum of 2 years of experience and a valid state phlebotomy certification. Responsibilities include performing blood draws, labeling and handling specimens, centrifuging, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring specimen integrity during transport.

Competenze

• Minimum of 6 months' work experience performing venipunctures in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting.
• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Mansioni

• Experience doing blood draws, labeling specimens, centrifuging specimens, recording maintenance data and decontamination.
• Collects, stores specimens according to established procedures.
• Explain venipuncture process clearly and courteously.
• Match requisitions to specimen tubes, label, centrifuge, split and freeze specimens as required.
• Package specimens for transport and ensure specimen integrity during transport.
• Attend annual department trainings and comply with OSHA/DEP regulations.
• Answer telephone calls and read laboratory results to satisfy inquiries.
