Job summary

Top Echelon Software LLC in Cumming, GA is seeking a Phlebotomist on a contract basis with potential to become permanent. The role runs 7:15am–4:15pm, Monday through Friday, for an estimated 3 months.

Responsibilities include blood draws, specimen labeling and transport, chart updating, and ensuring compliance with OSHA requirements. Candidates should have at least 6 months venipuncture experience and a valid phlebotomy certification.

Qualifications

• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed as required in some states.
• Minimum of 6 months' work experience performing venipunctures in a fast paced lab or hospital setting.
• High School Diploma or GED with minimum 2 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws and label specimens.
• Explain venipuncture process clearly to patients and demonstrate technique.
• Match requisitions to specimens; label, centrifuge, and store as required.
• Package specimens for transport and maintain specimen integrity.
• Comply with OSHA and DEP regulations and participate in trainings.
