Job summary

Joseph Michaels International is seeking a contract Phlebotomist for the Gainesville, GA area. The role includes performing blood draws, labeling specimens, and maintaining accurate records during a 3-month engagement with potential for permanent placement.

The ideal candidate will have a valid phlebotomy certification, at least 6 months of venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital, and basic Microsoft Office proficiency. Schedule is 8:00am–4:45pm, Monday to Friday, on-site.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy certification required.
• Minimum 6 months venipuncture experience in fast-paced lab or hospital.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws and specimen labeling.
• Centrifuge specimens and record maintenance data.
• Explain venipuncture process clearly to patients.
• Package and transport specimens while maintaining specimen integrity.
• Ensure OSHA and DEP regulations compliance.
