Hire Consulting Services seeks a Phlebotomist to support multiple sites in Imperial, CA and surrounding areas. This contract role offers hours from 6AM to 6PM on weekdays, with mileage paid and potential for permanent placement based on performance.

The ideal candidate has a phlebotomy certification, 6 months venipuncture experience, and proficiency with MS Office. Willingness to travel to Brawley and Calexico areas is required.

Qualifications

• Valid Phlebotomy certification required by the employing state.
• Minimum 6 months' venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• High School Diploma or GED.

Responsabilités

• Experience doing blood draws, labeling specimens, centrifuging and maintaining data.
• Explain venipuncture process clearly and courteously to patients.
• Match requisitions to tubes, label, centrifuge, and package specimens.
• Ensure accuracy of test requisitions and transport specimens as required.
• Store specimens per temperature requirements and follow protocol.
• Comply with OSHA/DEP regulations and attend trainings.
• Answer calls and relay lab results as needed.
