The Keystone Distinction Group is seeking a Phlebotomist for Imperial, CA and surrounding areas. This float position requires 6 months of venipuncture experience and valid California phlebotomy certification. Mileage is reimbursed and driving record must be clean.

Work hours are 6AM–6PM, Monday through Friday, with location variability. This contract role may lead to permanent placement after ~3 months, based on performance and business needs.

Formación

• Valid Phlebotomy certification for California.
• Minimum of 6 months' work experience performing venipunctures in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• High School Diploma or GED.

Responsabilidades

• Experience doing blood draws, labeling specimens, centrifuging specimens, recording maintenance data and decontamination, updating patient information.
• Explain the venipuncture process clearly and courteously.
• Demonstrate technique with straight or butterfly needles and follow physician orders.
• Match lab requisition forms to specimen tubes and prepare specimens for transport.
• Ensure correct labeling, packaging, and temperature control per protocol.
• Comply with OSHA/DEP regulations and attend trainings.
• Answer telephone inquiries and relay lab results as needed.
