Job summary

Acloché LLC is seeking a Phlebotomist for a Rockville, MD contract position. Schedule is Monday to Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm, with an initial duration of 3 months and potential to convert to permanent.

The role involves blood draws, specimen labeling, centrifugation, and ensuring proper specimen handling and data accuracy. Required are a valid phlebotomy certification (state-specific), 5 venipuncture experiences in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting, and a minimum of 2 years of overall work

Qualifications

• Valid phlebotomy certification as required by state
• Minimum of 5 venipuncture experiences in a fast-paced lab or hospital
• Minimum 2 years of overall work experience
• High school diploma or GED

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws, labeling specimens, centrifugation, and entry of patient data
• Collect and store specimens per procedures
• Explain venipuncture process clearly to patients
• Ensure test requisitions match labels and orders
• Package specimens for transport and maintain specimen integrity per protocol
• Attend department trainings and maintain OSHA/compliance standards
