Job summary

Qualifications

• Valid phlebotomy certification for the state of employment.
• Minimum 6 months' venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab.
• High School Diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws and related specimen processing.
• Label, centrifuge, and store specimens.
• Explain venipuncture procedures clearly to patients.
• Follow physician orders and test requisitions.
• Package specimens for transport and ensure safety.
• Maintain compliance with OSHA and DEP regulations.
• Attend annual department trainings.
• Record maintenance data and update patient information.
