• Valid phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed
• Minimum of 6 months venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and specimen collection following standard procedures
• Label, centrifuge, and record maintenance data for specimens
• Explain venipuncture process clearly to patients and ensure comfort
• Match requisitions to specimen tubes and ensure proper labeling
• Package specimens for transport and store per required temperatures
• Attend annual department trainings and maintain OSHA/DEP compliance
