Job summary

RRC Solutions Group is seeking a Phlebotomist in Colonial Heights, VA. The position runs 7:45am-4:30pm, Monday through Friday, on a 3-month contract with potential for permanent hire.

Responsibilities include blood draws, specimen labeling, centrifuging, and maintaining accurate patient data. Candidates should have phlebotomy certification and at least 6 months of venipuncture experience.

Qualifications

• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed.
• Minimum of 6 months' venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• High School Diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws and label specimens.
• Centrifuge specimens and record maintenance data.
• Decontaminate and update patient information.
• Package specimens for transport and ensure proper labeling.
• Explain venipuncture process clearly to patients.
• Comply with OSHA regulations.
