Qualifications

• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed (where required)

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws, labeling specimens, centrifuging specimens and recording maintenance data
• Package and transport specimens, maintain specimen integrity and temperature
• Explain venipuncture processes clearly and courteously to patients
• Ensure test requisitions match specimens and comply with lab protocols
• Attend department trainings and comply with OSHA/DEP regulations
