Markent Personnel, Inc. is seeking a Phlebotomist for a contract assignment in Columbus, GA. The successful candidate will perform blood draws, label and centrifuge specimens, and document maintenance data consistent with lab procedures.

Responsibilities include explaining venipuncture procedures to patients, ensuring specimen integrity, and packaging/transporting samples per protocol while maintaining OSHA/DEP standards.

Formación

• 3 years of phlebotomy experience required.
• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed as required in some states.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• High School Diploma or GED.

Responsabilidades

• Experience doing blood draws, labeling specimens, centrifuging specimens, recording maintenance data and decontamination.
• Collects and stores specimens according to established procedures.
• Explain venipuncture process clearly to patients and other specimen collection methods as required.
• Package specimens for transport and store according to required temperature and protocol.
