Job summary

Barrette Workforce Solutions, LLC is seeking a Phlebotomist for a 3-month contract in Cumming, GA, with a potential to become permanent. The schedule is 7:15am – 4:15pm, Monday through Friday, supporting a fast-paced clinical environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years' work experience performing venipunctures in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting.
• Experience with all age groups.
• Valid Phlebotomy certification as required by state

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws, label specimens, centrifuge and maintain records.
• Explain venipuncture process clearly to patients and ensure comfort.
• Match laboratory requisitions to specimens and ensure correct labeling.
• Package specimens for transport and maintain specimen integrity.
• Follow OSHA and DEP regulations; attend annual trainings and keep records.
