Job summary

Qualifications

• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where employed.
• Minimum of 6 months' venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• High School Diploma or GED, 1–4 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws and labeling specimens with accuracy.
• Centrifuge specimens and record maintenance data per procedures.
• Explain venipuncture process clearly to patients and obtain consent.
• Package specimens for transport and ensure correct labeling.
• Adhere to OSHA/DEP regulations and attend trainings.
