Job summary

Connectly Recruiting in Oceanside, CA is seeking a Phlebotomist for a contract assignment with potential for permanent placement. The schedule is 6AM–6PM, Mon–Fri, with weekend rotation, and offers $20.25 per hour and mileage reimbursement. Duration is about 3 months with a possible extension.

Qualifications

• Valid phlebotomy certification as required by state.
• Minimum of 6 months venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• High School Diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws and label specimens.
• Centrifuge specimens and record maintenance data.
• Explain venipuncture process clearly to patients.
• Package specimens for transport and ensure correct labeling.
• Follow OSHA and DEP regulations and assist with trainings.
