United Future in Vista, CA seeks a Phlebotomist for a 3-month contract with potential for permanency. Schedule 6 AM–6 PM, M-F, with weekends rotation and mileage reimbursement.

Responsibilities include blood draws, labeling, centrifuging, data recording, and patient communication. Requires a valid Phlebotomy certification and at least 6 months of venipuncture experience; driving record must be clean.

Formación

• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state of employment.
• Minimum 6 months' venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• High School Diploma or GED.

Responsabilidades

• Perform blood draws and label specimens.
• Centrifiuge specimens, maintain data and patient information.
• Prepare specimens for transport and ensure proper packaging.
• Explain venipuncture process clearly to patients.
• Follow OSHA/DEP regulations and attend trainings.
• Verify test orders and match requisitions to tubes.
• Answer inquiries and read lab results as needed.
