Your Talent Team in Oceanside, CA seeks a contract Phlebotomist with strong venipuncture skills to assist in drawing blood, labeling, centrifuging and maintaining specimen records. Requires clean driving record and reliable transportation; mileage reimbursed.

Work schedule is 6AM–6PM, Mon–Fri, with weekend rotation and potential for permanent placement after 3 months. Benefits available; pay is $20.25/hour with mileage expenses paid.

Formación

• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed as required in some states.
• Minimum of 6 months' work experience performing venipunctures in a fast paced lab or hospital setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• High School Diploma or GED 1-4 years of experience

Responsabilidades

• Experience doing blood draws, labeling specimens, centrifuging specimens, recording maintenance data and decontamination, updating patient information.
• Collects and stores specimens according to established procedures.
• Explain clearly the venipuncture process to patients and demonstrate technique with straight or butterfly needles.
• Follow physicians’ orders, match requisitions, and package specimens for transport; comply with OSHA/DEP regulations.
