Formación

• Valid phlebotomy certification for the state of employment.
• Minimum 6 months' venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital.
• High school diploma or GED.

Responsabilidades

• Experience doing blood draws, labeling specimens, centrifuging specimens, recording maintenance data, and decontamination.
• Collects and stores specimens according to established procedures and explains venipuncture to patients clearly.
• Match lab requisitions to specimen tubes and prepare specimens for transport.
• Ensure proper labeling, storage temperature, and compliance with OSHA/DEP regulations.
