You'll perform venipuncture and related collection methods, ensure proper labeling and documentation, and maintain a clean, safe lab environment while following all safety protocols. We value compassion and attention to detail in a diverse patient population.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy experience preferred; attention to detail essential.
• Strong communication and patient service skills are required.
• Experience with medical software and data entry is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Collect blood and other specimens by venipuncture and related methods.
• Verify patient ID, label specimens, document, and transport.
• Process specimens and maintain lab records in electronic systems.
• Handle microbiology and virology specimens with proper technique.
• Support providers and clinical staff with lab-related patient care.
• Maintain a clean, organized, stocked laboratory.
• Clean and sterilize equipment following safety protocols.
• Follow PPE and universal precautions and hazardous materials rules.
• Communicate professionally with patients and teams.
• Educate patients and promote healthy behaviors as part of the team.
